A self-priming booster set with built-in frequency converter. Smartboost Meta is a plug and play solution, the pump is equipped with an integrated pressure transducer, an integrated check valve and a built-in pressure vessel. The VSD controls the start and stop of the pump and allows it to keep a constant pressure. Applications suited to water supply systems, domestic use, garden use and irrigation.

A high efficiency asynchronous single-phase motor, motor power control, programmable restart pressure, no hydraulic losses due to the measuring devices voltage and current control monitoring of maximum starting current.

Precise and consistent control - the intelligent variable speed inverter operates in partial loads, preventing water hammer and provides accurate speed control during operation and the smooth start-up reduces mechanical stress and wear. The pump is easy to commission, set up and operate. Parameters and alarms appear on digital display to provide complete control of system operation.

It provides dry-run protection, detects the presence of air in the pump casing, overload control and overheating motor control, pump blockage, power supply control, starts per hour control and detects small leakages in the system.

The pump set is completed with an 8 litre vessel and installation kit to suit 1.0” pipework.

• Maintenance : To retain efficiency of the pump unit and to validate the warranty, all variable speed pump units with pressure vessels should be serviced regularly. Domestic applications are recommended a service once a year, commercial applications are recommended a twice yearly service.
