Application : A space saving alternative to above ground plant rooms.

WRAS Approved fully fitted underground GRP plant room incorporating a packaged booster set and storage tank. No need for planning permission, no noise from operation and it creates a space saving alternative to above ground plant rooms.

The base is constructed from GRP encapsulated support runners which should be lowered on to a flat continuous foundation. Integrated wall stiffeners allow a dry lean mix backfill to be poured over the housing. A slab can then be cast directly onto the UPOD cover or a precast slab placed over the top.

Supply and extraction fans for increased ventilation. Stainless steel pipework fully lagged to reduce condensation. Above ground mimic panel for monitoring of UPOD control panel. All mechanical connects made outside of unit in a designated ‘termination area’. Solenoid valve fitted to incoming water supply which will shut in case of emergency. Slow fill system to prevent water surge following a power cut or if the unit cuts out due to low water level. Telemetry available as an optional extra to send fault signals to remote locations via SMS text or telephone line.
