In December 2025, we specified and supplied equipment to boost the cold water to a private property. We put together a Systempro package including an integrated pump and tank system.   I have used Pump World for spares for existing pumps and recently they have set me up with an updated and very efficent new pumping system. Not being on mains water we rely on a pumping system to get water from source to our taps.

Boosting Large Hotel, Devon    January, 2025

In January 2025, we specified and supplied equipment to boost the cold water in a large hotel over two floors.

We put together a Systempro package including a high capacity sectional break tank to ensure easy transportation of the tank from courier to plant room through doorways. The tank is assembled by the manufacturer's engineers at no extra cost.  

As part of the package, we also supplied the Smartpro Twin Booster Set with flexibles and low level water protection switch, the ideal solution for a hotel, which requires a reliable and quality source of boosted water.

Replacing an Old Pump, London    October, 2023

We were asked to identify and replace an old single impeller pump located in the attic of a domestic property.

The pump itself was obsolete and the spec information was very limited. As such, we discussed with the end user their application, what they wished to achieve with the boosting performance and we were able to offer a solution.  

The Supergen 21SX is a brass bodied single impeller booster pump which provides a quality build and quiet running.

Replacement Shower Pump, Dorset    August, 2021

We were asked to provide a quotation to replace an existing Supergen 58TX in a domestic property. This is a very popular pump for typical domestic settings as it is very quiet running without compromising on performance.

Our technical team confirmed the correct connection size as this pump can be supplied to suit different pipework requirements. We can offer diagrams and/or photo ID to assist in this. It is available from our standard stock and was despatched the same day as the order was placed.

  Our old shower pump finally packed up, Would guess it was about 8 years old, so we were keen to replace it with the same product from pump world. I called the service team who were extremely helpful in confirming the correct connection size. I ordered the replacement pump on the Wednesday morning and reviewed delivery of the new pump by 10.30 am the following day. Pump was installed and up and running that evening. Very impressed with both the product and service from Pump World , I would highly recommend.

Boosting a Large Farmhouse, Northamptonshire    May, 2022

In May 2022, Pump World supplied a break tank and variable speed pump to boost the water pressure in a large farmhouse property in Northamptonshire.

The system needed to pump over 3 floors to multiple bathrooms and utilities.

Boosting a Historic Hotel, Dorset    August, 2023

We were asked to provide a quotation for a historic hotel in the heart of Dorset, with a focus on water treatment and boosting water pressure that would suit the confines of a Tudor age property. Small footprint and low noise solutions were a must.

We provided the Smartpro 12 Twin booster set and a slimline GRP two piece water storage tank which will provide the property with energy efficient, quiet water boosting with emergency cover at peak demand.  

For water treatment, we provided an ACP conditioner which will provide scale control from the outset so the pumps, pipes, showers and appliances are protected from scale formation and corrosion. We included the Tank Protection which is a safe and effective way to inhibit the growth of bacteria in your water storage tank. We completed the system with a UV Disinfection Set and Heat Dump.

Boosting a Luxury Home, Surrey   

Pump World were approached to provide a booster pump and cold water storage solution for a striking contemporary home. The property has a large, flexible living space and a variety of guest rooms, each with large ensuite. However, the plant room provision was small and required the renovation of an elevator shaft for the installation space.

Pump World specified a Smartpro 12 booster pump and a tall, modular break tank to provide ample water supply, and to make use of every inch of the limited space. A plant room insulation jacket was included to ensure a stable water temperature within the tank. These jackets are bespoke to the tank with velcro fixing and removable sections for pipework.

Boosting a Jacobean Manor, Wareham   

Pump World were approached to provide a Systempro boosting solution for a Grade I listed heritage building built in the 1600s.

The property had an anticipated occupancy of up to 15 people, boosting over 3 floors to multiple bathrooms and utilities.

Pump World’s technical team specified a bespoke break tank to suit the limited space, a rapid recovery hot water cylinder for fast water heating and a Smartpro Twin variable speed pump set which offers precise speed control, quiet operation and reduced running costs.

Once installation was completed, a commissioning service was provided by a manufacturer accredited engineer to check and tune the pump set. A highly recommended service to provide peace of mind for your installation.

This was a long-running project with multiple stages within the specification process to balance the limitations of the period property with the demands of  modern day use. Our specification service is highly flexible to ensure the best solution to suit you and your property.
