Pump World were approached to provide a Systempro boosting solution for a Grade I listed heritage building built in the 1600s.

The property had an anticipated occupancy of up to 15 people, boosting over 3 floors to multiple bathrooms and utilities.

Pump World’s technical team specified a bespoke break tank to suit the limited space, a rapid recovery hot water cylinder for fast water heating and a Smartpro Twin variable speed pump set which offers precise speed control, quiet operation and reduced running costs.

Once installation was completed, a commissioning service was provided by a manufacturer accredited engineer to check and tune the pump set. A highly recommended service to provide peace of mind for your installation.

This was a long-running project with multiple stages within the specification process to balance the limitations of the period property with the demands of  modern day use. Our specification service is highly flexible to ensure the best solution to suit you and your property.

In July 2022, we replaced two obsolete pumps in a high demand apartment in Surrey.

The obsolete pumps had been superceded with efficient motors and digital inverters which offer enhanced performance, LED displays and more cost efficient running.  

Our technical team were on hand to offer installation and advice to the plumber on site who had not fitted the pumps before, and had to connect two pumps together to work in duty assist.

Our technical team have the experience and product know-how to help you select and install the correct pump for the application. If you would like assistance, complete our SPECIFY form, or contact our team on 01793 820142.

As part of a wide-scale renovation project of an iconic apartment block in Esher, Surrey, Pump World was contacted to design and supply a complete system to boost the block’s water pressure.

The system needed to pump over 5 floors to 26 showers, 26 basins, 25 sinks, and 26 WCs.

Pump World’s technical team designed a system including a large GRP break tank (pictured), a high quality three pump booster set, and a Boosterpack 50 mains boosting set (used to boost the outside tap).

The system needed to pump over 3 floors to bathroom and utilities with hot and cold water storage to suit demand. Water treatment was also requested.

Pump World’s technical team specified a modular break tank with insulation and a tank protection cartridge for cold water storage, a bespoke hot water cylinder with secondary circulator, a variable speed Smartpro pump set with variable speed to ensure quiet running and reduced running costs and a timed water softener to reduce limescale.

All components of the system were supplied with ready-assembled installation kits to protect and maintain the system whilst ensuring a fast installation for the contractor.

We were asked to provide a quotation for a universal twin shower pump, 2.0 Bar, with exceptionally quiet running.

Pump World’s technical team recommended a Supergen N80TX - a high quality, UK made shower pump with brass construction and continuously rated induction motor. This increases the life of the pump and decreases the noise level. The brass is cast so it is much thicker than standard stamped brass alternatives, and uniquely machined for smooth water flow. This pump is extremely quiet running and WRAS Approved. Supplied with 1.5 m mains cable and stainless steel braided hoses.

  Please pass on my thanks to the team and especially the gentleman on the technical help desk. I am over the moon with this pump, great product and super quiet which was the main reason for purchase. Very happy, many thanks again.

We were approached to specify a mains boosting set with additional spares to supply an irrigation system. Pump World’s technical team recommended the Smart-box Tank Set CAT5  as well as an insulation jacket, hose, hose accessories, and a lever ball valve.

  This was a good install to a store room behind a concierge desk of a housing development. The pump was required to supply an irrigation system. We strongly advised the client to use this model as it has such a quiet motor and being so close to the main desk. The install required us to add extra power outlet (13amp spur) plus an outside socket. The water inlet was straight forward and all lagged. The waste overflow, which feeds from the back of this unit has been hidden behind shelves and into the drain. The outlet pipe had to snake up the wall and through an old thick wall to ground level to where we fitted a 1" lever tap for the irrigation system to hook up to. The client has commented that the pump can't be heard from the desk area. Overall, the service we had from Pump World was very professional and efficient. The help we received from Nigel was very beneficial, as was Francesca."
